Q: What do you love most about Bradley REACH?

What I cherish most about Bradley REACH is the team. They are not just colleagues; they are exceptional teachers, advocates, and providers who empower not only the teens and families of this program but each other every day. Their constant positivity, compassion, and knack for using humor create bonds that uplift the spirits of both the team and the families we work with.

Q: What’s the best thing about virtual care?

The beauty of virtual care lies in its ability to bridge gaps and reach populations of teens and their families who may otherwise go without much-needed support. Within our REACH program, we excel at this. Moreover, virtual care allows us to step into the daily lives of teens, meeting them in their own environments. This enables us to gain invaluable insight into their daily struggles and provide tailored support grounded in their realities.

Q: What can we all do to improve teenagers’ mental health?

The teenage years are a vibrant and crucial stage of life, and to enhance their mental health, we must engage with them directly. Instead of speaking on their behalf, we should listen to their voices and empower them to express themselves. By asking questions, advocating for their unique perspectives, and educating them on effective communication, we can ensure that they feel seen, heard, and understood.
