Ellen Hallsworth
Director, Bradley REACH
Ellen Hallsworth is director of the REACH Program at Bradley Hospital. Before joining Bradley in 2022, Hallsworth led a major telehealth project at the Peterson Center of Health Care in New York and managed major grants to a range of organizations including Ariadne Labs at Harvard University, Northwestern University, and the Clinical Excellence Research Center at Stanford University. Before joining the Peterson Center, she consulted on a major research project comparing models of care for high-need, high-cost patients internationally, funded by the Commonwealth Fund.
Hallsworth spent most of her career in the UK. She was assistant director for business development at the Health Foundation, one of the UK’s largest health-focused philanthropies. At the Health Foundation she established an institute for quality improvement research at the University of Cambridge, and led a network of European health care leaders in partnership with other European foundations. Previously, she worked as head of partnerships, strategy and development at the Institute for Government, a leading UK think tank, where she established partnerships with government, major research funders, philanthropy and the private sector. In the UK she also served on the board of one of the UK’s national clinical audits.
